Comal County Night Sky Friendly Businesses
The Comal County Friends of the Night Sky, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Canyon Lake and endorsed by the Hill Country Alliance, seeks to recognize area businesses that practice night sky friendly lighting in order to preserve the night sky in Comal County. Certified businesses receive a Certificate of Merit, a window decal display for the front of the business, the right to use the Night Sky Friendly Business logo in advertising and websites, and links for the business to the Comal County Friends of the Night Sky website, and Facebook pages.

The Comal County Friends of the Night Sky was formed in March, 2020 by a group of concerned residents who first met using Zoom. We are working on several initiatives to facilitate night sky friendly lighting in order to preserve and improve the stunning night sky of the Texas Hill Country and Comal County, TX.
